Indeed. I remember about 30 years back I was on a business trip in Huntsville, AL and hit up the local happy hour at the Space Center Marriott. Lots of cute big-haired gals with floral print dresses, one of whom approached me to chat. I said I was from Maryland, to which she responded "Ew, I've never met a Yankee I didn't hate." Charming.

Huh? These racist nut jobs will rally and march for anything they perceive as a threat to "white superiority". One of these was the removal of the statue of the despicable Lee...

At odds with the whole Civil War narrative.
Here's a little history lesson for you - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_American_Bund

It isn't just the Lost Causers, they've joined up with the neo-Nazis. You didn't see all those swastika flags in the news reports?

Not much. Just an excuse for the party.

Probably. But, it must have been the KKK Nazis fighting other KKK Nazis since according to all the media and politicians nobody else was involved.

There were Nazis and anti-Nazis. Not exactly morally equivalent IMO.

I don't disagree. I don't like pit bulls, but I don't go around poking them.

This notion that if you don't confront them they are going to grow in to some huge movement is ridiculous. Much more likely that they will grow if the media and politicians keep advertising them 24/7 .

Which is why they were at Charlottesville in the first place.
