My home town for many years, Dayton OH, now the latest scene of a mass shooting. This strikes hard.

Word is shooter was bounced at the door of a bar, and came back armed and armored. Quick and effective action from Dayton police on the scene kept it from being much worse. But even something like a best-case scenario of good-guys-with-guns could not prevent tragedy.

I don't feel safer as a potential public space shooting gallery target in a country that grants a birthright entitlement to all and sundry to a private arsenal of tactical weaponry.

I never carry as a rule, unless on the way to a legal target range.
In the respective cases unloaded.

Also have a ccp and have actually read the 2nd amendment. It doesn't say what it's proponents claim, their delusional nonsense kills folks.

I take it to mean, a "Well Regulated" civilian militia and the needing for it to be armed.

The one I would carry if ever is a S&W six shot .38 bobbed hammer snub nose.
