Biden and Garland better wake up and act on this quickly before they lose their base. The GQP has theirs locked up and loaded. If they leave it up the the Senate, this will go the same way like the Jan 6th insurrection where in their final report, even this word 'Insurrection' has been expunged.

You're right about this. The Democratic Party needs to quit worrying about looking like the party of fair play. This is a back alley knife fight and if they don't start acting like it the democracy is gonna be gone. All this latest news about Trump manipulating the DOJ to get the election reversed...it's not going to matter. Trump's bad business practices aren't going to matter...they never mattered. If he goes to jail it's not going to matter, because the GOP has adopted the model and the electorate is half full of assholes, maybe more than half.

Unfortunately we have too nice a guy at the top, US House overflowing with crazies and an ineffective Pelosi, and two very selfish worms in the Senate who may/will switch parties if cornered. I am very pessimistic that the best Dems will do is hand wringing and the real risk is that there are people like me no longer sending money to Act Blue. How can so many House and Senate races be lost with exorbitant amounts of money in the midst of Trump's disastrous administration and a mishandled pandemic. Piss Poor Messaging and ineffective leadership in the party; Pelosi, Feinstein, Schumer........list is endless.
