"Anna Paulina Luna, a candidate for Florida’s 13th Congressional District, has obtained a stalking injunction against one of her soon-to-be opponents, saying he and two other potential candidates conspired to kill her.

Luna previously ran against Charlie Crist in 2020 for the seat that covers southern Pinellas County and lost. She obtained the temporary injunction against William Braddock, a 37-year-old St. Petersburg resident who said he plans to register Wednesday with the Federal Election Commission as a Republican candidate for the congressional seat.

“Ms. Luna has no comment at this time due to multiple ongoing law enforcement investigations of this matter,” said James Blair, a spokesperson for Luna. “Those investigations are based upon Mr. Braddock’s own threats and actions, and we are confident the facts will be public at the appropriate time.”

In her petition for an injunction, Luna says she is a congressional candidate and was the Republican nominee for the 2020 cycle.

“I received information yesterday (at midnight) regarding a plan (with a timeline) to murder me made by William Braddock in an effort to prevent me from winning the election for FL-13,” Luna wrote." Tampa Bay Times

Yikes!!! It turns out that it's true that Braddock threatened her. I'll never understand Florida Republicans. Nutty as fruitcakes left out in the noonday Florida sun.

Unfortunately, Southern RepubliKKKans are what holds sway over the party these days. More lunacy to come. Watch as they try to grab credit for the Juneteenth holiday because of the unanimous Senate vote. All that means is that they're desperate to capture the Black vote......3,2,1..........

You mean like the Repubs who tried to claim credit for the economic relief package that they voted against? Shure they voted for the holiday but they're still trying to take away the vote.

Yep, those ones. As Roy Cohn advised them many years ago; "No matter how bad it gets, never admit defeat. Always claim victory and walk away.". So, this is what we have; Even if they vehemently oppose something that proves popular after it passes, they will grab credit and claim victory.........
