Average Joes' attention will pick up when the Social Security checks don't come, Medicare claims are rejected and national parks are closed for their summer vacations. Your claim is wishful thinking that the public will not remember that the public won't remember GOP extremists' extortion demands that caused a default.

US economy beats back 'dubious' recession fears after GDP, jobs data top expectations

As much as our resident MAGAMoron would love for Joe's strong economy to falter, it ain't happening.

You don't think that McCarthy is aware his party will get the blame (as they should)? The GOP has blinked every other time they've tried this extortion racket. Then again, you may have a point. McCarthy is dumber than a rock.

So you think Kev is going to play hardball and refuse to raise the debt ceiling?

AI mania takes hold of the market. Every second word is AI. The easy money is no longer available.
Just hope this is not another one like the "dot.com" bubble.
In the meantime, Nvidia expects $11 billion in revenue for the second quarter.

Because Clinton sold out his base. The sad part...the members played blissful ignorance for a long time. For instance he changed the rules that some of them had to work to collect the pittance that the social network afforded. However he was even praised as the first black president. When I asked the reason. The answer: He played the saxophone and he played lots of women. WTF.
Broadly, Clinton enamored with his triangulation, spat on faithful democrats. He was the politician most associated with deindustrialization; wholeheartedly fronted and welcomed China into the WTO.

OK, you explain that you think Clinton was bad for domestic industry, while Biden is good. What I am missing is why that is Biden favoring his base, and not 'everyone.'
I will note you have a lot of resentment and bitterness coming out when you speak of 'Clinton spitting.' I suspect you felt personally harmed by economic changes in the Clinton era.
