Guys, I still maintain that the guy moved back home to MI and set up residency here.
Also, I guess I'm the only one who sees something wrong with preferential treatment for illegal aliens and their family members but not for veterans.

He might have moved back to MI, but he needs to be here long enough to satisy UofM's residency requirements. I believe it is three years unless other conditions are satisified which, apparently in this case, they were not.

No he didn't. That's why U of M said he had to pay the higher rate.

That isn't the case. You're reaching.

Yeh, you're right - you are a waste of time. I come over here from AK when I'm bored and tired of playin' nice with my friends over there.
BTW, you aren't one of those pea brained, knuckle draggin', members of the Michigan militia, are you? You seem a bit smarter than that.

IIRC it was "Bowling for Columbine" where I first saw those idjits. Moore went out shooting with 'em with his shotgun that he got as a gift for opening an account from a bank in Michigan. The bank itself is a licensed gun dealer and instead of like in the good ol' days when you got a toaster for opening an account, you got a choice of different long guns. Good thing they weren't offering a box of ammo with it. Michigan is a strange state according to my gramps, he should know, he was a Yooper...

You betcha!
Gramps was OK until he got started on jews and black folk. More than a couple of times I just up and walked out when he got started up on that crap.
You can pick your friends but you're stuck with your family-that doesn't mean you have to listen to 'em...
