Where does "shall not be infringed" fit into that?

It doesn't with the repeal.
Without a regulated militia for the National defense, the 2nd amendment loses it's purpose, and is null and void.

As of today, the 2nd still stands. If it is repealed, I will go along with whatever the laws require then.

I'd not have four of my firearms under the fantasy scenario, and wouldn't miss them anymore than anything else that didn't happen.

The point is that the 2nd has no real practical purpose, other than as a political bludgeon with assumed rights to armed rebellion against the federal government.

With that argument then ownership of chemical biological nuclear weapons be legal to own and use by ALL citizens?

In this day and age anyone who still holds onto a armed citizen standing up to real aggression by an opposing armed force. With an AR-15 and a .45 and then coming out victorious.
Is only fooling themselves. Or justifying the ownership of lethal weapons being used as a toy.
A armed force with remote controlled standoff smart bombs. Armored vehicles with highly trained personal attacking citizens in these modern times require then same to withstand.
