That period in the band's history (70-75), after the departure of Peter Green, is full of great music. And very under-rated, IMO.

Debussy - Afternoon of a Faun. The first time I heard this piece was in the old Gaiete theatre in Montreal, Lili St. Cyr was taking all her clothes off to that tune. She was gorgeous. I doubt that burlesque house is still there, or Lili either.
Wiki says she died in 1999.

Most def.....it sort of got overlooked between the Green era fans and the superstar era of Buckingham Nicks.
I am on the lookout for Future Games

I have it on vinyl. My favorite from that period though is the first post-Peter Green album and the last one before Jeremy Spencer went blooey.
"Tell Me All The Things You Do" is on right now.

I love Kiln House. It and Then Play On are my two favorite Mac albums and both are completely different than anything that follows Kiln House (most of which I have, but have grown tired of).

There's actually a somewhat funny story about this specific 70-71 period. Shortly after the release of Kiln House the band was on tour in early 1971 and one day Jeremy Spencer apparently told his band mates that he was going out to buy a magazine and never came back. They found out he had joined this Christian cult group called the Children of God. And as I vaguely remember from back then, those people were seriously weird. Yikes.
When I saw your post, I ran to the vinyl pile and I have Rattlesnake Shake on right now. Man this is great!
So I'm listening to that, from the later '69 release of Then Play On, with "Oh Well".

Johnny Cash - American III, Solitary Man
He does a cover of Nick Cave's "Mercy Seat" that is absolutely haunting.
Regards,
