This thread is about Gaza. What expansionism in Gaza? There haven't been Jew settlers in Gaza for close to 20 years. Gazans got their State in 2005. The terrorism never stopped. And there was no joint Israel/Egypt blockade until after the people of Gaza made terrorists their government in 2007.

As far as the West Bank is concerned...the West Bank was not a Palestinian state in 1967. It was land that had been occupied, and then annexed by the Jordanians in 1950. In 1967 the West Bank was Jordan, it was not Palestine, and Jordan was never going to allow it to become a Palestinian State. Were there terrorist attacks committed on Jordanians in the West Bank between 1950 and 1967 by angry Palestinians who's land had been stolen? No...there were not. Why not? No Jews to kill.* Palestinians in the West Bank were offered Jordanian citizenship after the 1950 occupation. Just as Palestinians in the West Bank were offered Israeli citizenship after the 1967 war. Some Palestinians accepted Jordan's offer of citizenship. Very few Palestinians who remained in the West Bank after the 1967 war and who valued their survival, accepted Israel's offer of citizenship.

So...when Jordan joined in on the war against the sovereign state of Israel, the IDF kicked their ass, took over the West Bank, and promised Israeli Jews that no rocket, mortar or land attacks would be able to be made on them from the middle of their country, ever.

If I was an Israeli Jew and the Knesset decided to hand over the West Bank to the Islamic Jihad, Fata, the PLO or any other pack of terrorists, my head would burst into flames.

That's what I think about zionists.

And come on Zeke...how's about you express your true feelings about all this...they're not zionists they're zionazis. It's not Israel, it's ApartheidIsrael. It's not the defense of Jewish lives, it's Muslim genocide. The only people in the region who have genocide on their minds are the Islamofascist terrorists. *Just like there were no terrorist attacks on Egyptians after Egypt occupied and annexed Gaza in 1948. Gaza was Egypt in 1967 it was not Palestine. It became a Palestinian State in 2005 when all Jews were moved out of their settlements. The historic Jewish community of Gaza has been ethnically cleansed, their heritage and places of worship, some remarkable ornate synagogues, and any Jewish cemeteries have been desicrated, destroyed and long forgotten.
