Talked to a few people yesterday that have been in NYC, and they say it's total BS with cops. They said the cops and firemen are tossing slurs and being rude trying to provoke the people. They said DC is the best since they even lead the marches down the middle of the streets with no permits. The cops yesterday were like they were leading a parade and very polite. Some even waving and saying hi....

Keep it up NYC, your attitude is helping get more people in the streets.

Someone said they saw the guy stick his leg under the scooter after he got hit. THey did say he got hit though..

I went back and watched the video real close and sure as shit, you can see the guys legs both by the front wheel after the scooter stopped moving, but then suddenly one leg is under the scooter after the kickstand was down..

mmmm.. nothing like a lawyer with no morals..

I still say the cop was in the wrong about hitting him, but I gotta say the guy is even more wrong.

I saw the video up close. The cop hit him with the scooter and ran over his foot in the process knocking him to the ground. The cop kick standed the scooter and shoved off of it knocking it over as he stepped over the guy he just hit. The guy he hit was writhing on the ground in pain and his legs were flailing. They accused and arrested him for knocking the scooter over. That of course required some baton action. There was blood on the ground and I am pretty sure it did not come from the cops. It is true video can be seen by people in many different ways.
