Were you trying to take over city hall TD?

And only Rob talked about use of force?

Interesting, just like Cali or San Fran nobody here is using OWS for the punks hitting downtown.

Not the local online East Bay Express:
1. Occupy Oakland protesters used a crowbar to break into City Hall on Saturday night and then vandalized the historic building after a demonstration turned into chaos, the Chron and Trib report.

Not the Oakland Tribune:
OAKLAND -- City leaders are preparing new strategies to strike back against Occupy Oakland, but law enforcement experts say there is little authorities can do to keep the movement from continuing with costly demonstrations.

Not even the San Francisco Chronicle:
[I][Occupy Oakland protesters split over violence/I]

Yep, they are not even from Oakland, they just show up to trash the place. I say trash them.

I grew up here and know Oakland very, very well from the 60's to present day. There is so much of the city you never hear about that just doesn't get any press although quite a bit does.

I love the Oakland Hills area just South of Berkeley. The Warren freeway in springtime still ranks as one of my favorite drives. I'd drive from Mills College to Cal at least three times a week and always looked forward to that drive. The parking at Cal not so much. Despite the much talked about violence of Oakland, I never had any problems with anyone there. The last time I was there, I thought that the city did a great job of making downtown nicer again compared to when I lived there back in the early 1980s.

The 1960s? I always thought I was born a couple decades too late. East Bay in the 1960s must have been, shall I say, fun.

YUlya sounds like a bot to me. No reference in any way to the topic at hand, and user CP shows this is his first and only post.
