Redistribution of wealth--From Blue to Red?

I live in one of the Reddest of Red States. Just got my Personal Property Tax bill (Car Tax) $710---Due in two weeks. I keep trying to tell people, OUR TAXES ARE REDICULOUS IN A RED STATE. And then I read this. Apparently, we not only tax ourselves like this, but we take YOUR money as well.

The hypocracy is astounding. And the refusal, of some, to face it is even more astounding.

You may be getting fucked in your RED state, but here in OUR RED state, we don't get fucked on taxes. Reckon thats the reason these blue state folks keep moving in on us? Hell, we bitch at 'em pretty bad when we hear them say, '' well we do things differently where we came from .. you guys could have more to offer around here if your taxes were not so low ''. We reply, '' well YA'LL ( not YOU GUYS ) can gladly go back to where you came from and pay all the fuckin' taxes YA'LL wish because frankly we are quite happy with what we do have, and happy with our low taxes ''.

Here in our area, owning and living on about 12 acres only costs around 300.00 a year.

Here in our area, total amount due for a car or truck tag is 24.00 a year and we don't have wheel tax to worry with, nore do we have to deal that other money circle thing some call Marta ( emissions testing ).

Here, you don't need a building permit to build a house, barn, shed, or building on your land.

It does cost ALOT more to live in Davidson, Williamson, and Rutherford counties that are infested with liberal transplants, and we also noticed that on election night, those counties were lit up blue on the tv screen and our complete surrounding area here was solid red.

Explain why the blue area's cost more to live, and expect you to ask for permission before you ad anything to your property, 'please'.

Maybe that's 'cause (and I think this was the point) you are spending $1.30 for every $1.00 you pay in taxes. Some of "us" in Colorado are paying your way. So if I, for instance "moved in on you" in TN I'd just be getting back what I've been paying extra for the last several years.

So maybe what you should say to all those folks is "thank you for paying my bills."
