A warm congratulations to all the cons

take pride that in spite of the best efforts of a new president only the banks and big business benefited from our tax dollars being used to rescue the world economy.
The little guy, your neighbor is still being kicked to the curb.
Good Job!

Greed is an ugly thing on both sides. I started another thread about banks and mortgages falling into foreclosure a while ago. It makes no more sense now than it did before to me.

Wrong again, the states did pretty well too, especially the ones with Dems at the helm (Imagine that). You're right though, both of my neighbors are jobless with no leads. They both voted for Obama, and had good jobs when Bush was in office. I honestly think they sort of layed down after he got elected, waiting for "something". I on the other hand, stepped it up a notch figuring there would soon be layoffs. I wonder if they are still waiting?

Are you making a case that they lost their jobs do to Obama's handling of the economy?

I know you don't believe Obama caused your friends unemployment so why is it so hard to say it?

I won't tell a sole that you admitted it.

Damn, PM me if you need to.

BTW, what's for dinner?
It's about that time.
(let me guess, if I like hot dogs, you don't)

As much as I have the 6:00 news they got the bailout right. They said the money went to banks and the big insurance companies.

If the banks cut anyone any slack, it's because the want to be bankers and not real estate agents. About all they're going to do is modify the loans to keep the suckers in perpetual debt.

Of course, it's the banks and the insurance companies who make the big campaign donations. The suckers, well, they're the suckers.

At times like this, I wish we had another Andy Jackson at the helm.

Chas
