You know, what these idiots do not realize is how screwed they would have been in the HAD kidnapped the Governor. No one would have dealt with them, the vast majority of Americans, many more than do now, would have hated them and what they'd done, their would have been an overwhelming mobilization of force against them, they would have been captured or killed, and their ideology would have been utterly rejected. The FBI saved them from themselves.

It's a standard MO (modus operandi).

Not saying it's a wrong thing to do. This one was a 'legit sting', it looks like.

There was one in Missouri last year, some guy was on his way to blow up a nursing home. He wound up being shot and killed by the FBI. That one was unethical, he was just a nut case, manipulated by the 'informant'.
