I'm not sure where the fault lies, but Al Capone would be proud of what the healthcare industry in this country has accomplished. Every aspect of it has evolved to milk every possible nickel out of it.

I think they operate more along the lines of Andrew Carnegie and J.P. Morgan - in other words, bigger crooks than Capone.

Perhaps if they worked for their employees and customers instead of CEOs and stockholders----.

Sure, it's a good deal for the high risk group.

But if they are the only ones signing up then the whole system will collapse, which is what we are beginning to see happen now with all these companies pulling out of the exchanges.

The obvious solution is to expand our current Medicare program to everyone.

And I mean EVERYONE!!

It was "only" $13,000 a year early in Obama's term. We got scewed..... which is why the established politico needs to go. We're always getting screwed.
I just found out that mine is going up 8% effective Jan. 1st.

Which means I got to pay more in December because of course they make you pay in advance.

Thanks Obummer!

Change that and you'll get somewhere. But so long as we still have a majority that think shared medical costs is welfare and the sick, the injured and the elderly are just moochers trying to steal from them, single payer will get nowhere.

Sad, but true.
