Just found out that the Medicare Part B Premium will be going up to $149 in 2017.

Up from $121.80 in 2016, which was up from $104.90 in 2015.

Obummercare is the new name for PPCA, and I remember the bleeding hearts giving me grief when I said that this will be a gift to the insurance companies, since the middlemen were still around. Then I was told that this is better than nothing, better for who?

Actually Raj it was the Blue Dog DINOs who screwed it up.

Oh yeah, my CareFirst had a minimal increase and they also sent me a check for $32.80 because of that 80% rule that ACA introduced

With the increases scheduled for Jan of 2017 my BCBS premiums will have gone up 62% in the eight years that Obummer was President and Medicare Part B premiums will have gone up 54% in the same time period. At the same time, co-pays and deductibles for both have gone up.

So excuse me if I am not impressed. .

I am having enough trouble at the thought of a H--> Presidency let alone the next generation of Obummercare.

Let's not fool ourselves, the Republican and the Democrat lawmakers report to the same conglomerate and the POTUS only has the sign/veto authority.
