Anti-Colonialist?

You know, it just occured to me;

Gingrich recently referred to President Obama as a "Kenyan Anti-Colonialist".
He meant it as a slam, but;

Were the founding fathers not anti-colonialist? Really? I mean they were colonials who rebelled against the mother country were they not?

The president should have taken that as a compliment and thanked Newtie for the accolades. (All except the "Kenyan" part, perhaps.) I would have.

According to Gingrich and another tool who has written an article, Obama's dad was a political activist in the tradition of the African countries who had fought to free themselves from colonial rule in the last century. They had among them those who favored socialism. Therefore, Obama has learned socialism from his father. This is the warped logic of the Republicans who would be king.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't his father leave when he was six, and die a couple years later? Or, was it even younger than that? I guess the "birther" thing* hasn't quite worked as well as they had hoped so they have to find another straw to grasp at.

They keep coming up with this absurd stuff, Karl. And people are hungry to believe it. Folks have gone crazy over here. That's the best way I can think to describe it.

So that, years later, Bill Ayers could brainwash him with radical Marxist ideology at the University of Chicago. We converted our 'colonies' into outright owned States by force as we expanded. Don't have to worry about the native population if they're all dead or gone.
