Sad but true. He refused to acknowledge the potential liability for exposing our employees and even more so to their children who cannot be vaccinated yet. Everyone forgets, for one thing, the 95% is not 100%. If vaccinated you probably won't get super sick if you do get infected, but you could pass it on.

Its certain now that Liz Cheney will be kicked out of her #3 leadership position in the GOP/GQP. Here is Gov. Hogan's comment today:

"I think they're concerned about retaliation from the president," Hogan said Sunday. "They're concerned about being attacked within the party. And it just bothers me that you have to swear fealty to the 'Dear Leader' or you get kicked out of the party. It just doesn't make any sense."

Todd noted that Cheney had supported Trump while in office, particularly his 2017 tax reform bill that Stefanik voted against. According to data from FiveThirtyEight, Cheney voted with Trump's agenda nearly 93% of the time vs Stefanik, who supported it about 78% of the time.

"Well, it's sort of a circular firing squad where we're attacking members of our own party," Hogan said.

Wish more people get bothered since I am all for infighting in the GOP. Wonder what will happen to Hogan now though governors are mostly immune from national party politics.

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) did not disclose internal polling that revealed dismal numbers for former President Donald Trump in key swing districts during the House GOP retreat in April, according to two sources who spoke with The Washington Post.

The conservatives in my circles have wanted Liz out for a very long time. She's in the "elite" group of Rinos that are so far left we just see them as "not so covert" democrats. You know, folks like the last two R presidential candidates before Trump - which made those two election cycles uber-stupid.

This isn't a party schism. It's a party purification.
