Half of Americans over 55 may retire poor
COVID-19 job losses, early withdrawals may decimate retirement finances

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/ha...oor-2020-10-01

Yet millions of them will continue to vote Repube, a party that doesn't give a damn about them, and will try mightily to destroy their healthcare, Social Security and Medicare - their lifelines. Sad.

Will they look back at Donny's incompetence, and regret voting for him? Many of them, as personified by our resident Trumpkins, are simply too ignorant.

Exclamation Karma Kicks tRump Straight In The Ass

Personally knowing how dangerous Covid is and being in the elderly/obese/high cholesterol group he says are the only ones getting affected fat boy must be sweating buckets.
So Rumpy, continuingly bashing Biden for wearing a mask and social distancing, gets dosed with Covid. I thought he was taking hydroxychloroquine for prevention. Guess that doesn't work huh? If he has to be hospitalized and not being able to host his hate rally's it will drive him up the wall.

Oh Donny...

All I can say is he better not die from C-19. If he does the internet will savage him. Remember Boris Johnson played badass and C-19 kicked his ass too.

Years of the White House obscuring health information add instability at a tricky moment
If the Hicks test hadn’t leaked, would we even know about Orange Shitstain?

https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...tricky-moment/

Quote:
The White House didn’t confirm that President* Trump’s personal valet tested positive for the novel coronavirus until the media broke the story in May. It didn’t confirm that Vice President Pence’s press secretary contracted the virus until the media reported it a few days later. It didn’t confirm that Trump’s national security adviser had it until the press reported it, and it was only after Bloomberg News — which first reported several of these cases — revealed that counselor Hope Hicks had tested positive that the White House acknowledged it.

It appears that the first time the White House was the first to confirm a positive coronavirus test in the administration was Trump’s tweet about his own positive test early Friday morning.

Questions immediately arose about possible succession plans or preparations. Trump's ongoing reelection campaign lost its candidate for some to-be-determined period — and lost any hope of redirecting the race away from the ongoing pandemic.

That instability will only be heightened by the long track record of obscuring or misrepresenting health information related to the president*.

‘It’s Just F*ck-Up After F*ck-up’—Orange Shitstain's COVID Advisers at Their Breaking Point
WHAT A MESS
With the president* infected, the group responsible for combating the virus remains a mess. At the center of the drama is one man: Dr. Scott Atlas.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/its-ju...breaking-point

Quote:
Trump had told senior officials in recent weeks he doesn’t see Atlas on TV enough and wants him booked on more programs and cable-news shows representing the administration’s policies, said a source with direct knowledge of the president’s wishes. But even Fox "News"—whose airwaves initially drew Trump to Atlas—has grown wary of putting him on some programs, owing to his policy prescriptions that are deemed by many to be out-of-touch with mainstream scientific and public-health opinion.

And within the administration, trust in Atlas is even lower. In the interview with Stanley, Fauci called out Atlas for undermining an assessment by Redfield that 90 percent of Americans are still susceptible to the virus.

“I thought it was extraordinary inappropriate for him [Atlas] in a press conference like that to contradict the director of CDC as opposed to saying ‘you know, it is a complicated issue and I think I’d like to sit down and discuss this with the people from the CDC’,” Fauci said. “And then what has happened, he’s a smart guy, no doubt about it, but he tends to cherry-pick data.”

Redfield has also been quoted speaking critically about Atlas, saying—in comments overheard by NBC last week, that “everything” Atlas “says is false.” Multiple officials working with the task force, meanwhile, have said that Atlas, the president and other advisers have downplayed case numbers and complicated their efforts to inform the public about how local communities can stop the spread of the virus by issuing public health ordinates, such as mask mandates, and by recommending stricter lockdown measures.

On Friday, hours before Trump was flown to Walter Reed, Atlas was quoted as predicting the president would make “a complete and full and rapid recovery.”

There was, he insisted, “zero reason to panic.”

There is plenty of reason to panic. Trumps odds of recovery may be as high as 95%.
