If a woman does not want an abortion, then don't have one.

If one truly believes in a heaven, life after death with a loving God. Not in this is it, only the hear and now. Then nothing. What is the problem? Either goes straight to heaven skipping the suffering of life or gets another shot at life. If this is it no second chance then a stronger argument for outlawing abortion.

I've never heard how they wiggle around the 'fate of unborn souls' issue. Perhaps they think them unsaved, which places the judgement of God in a very harsh light. Or perhaps they think them saved, in which case the strident opposition seems an over-reaction.

But they wiggle around it, of course. No one lets such problems derail their crusade. On the face of it, the wiggling consists of ignoring this whole question a lot.

Went looking a little. The predominate idea seems to be "We don't know, but don't worry about it. God is merciful.'

Some go on to assure us that 'God takes care of his own, not a one will be lost.' Sounds good as long as you aren't too troubled by this division of humanity into 'the elect' and 'the ones not in the class of God's Own.' If you are, God's mercy must seem inadequate to interfere with God's genocide.
