Tell ya what...here's the profile on Lightfoot from the Chicago Tribune. The Tribune's political alignment? Since the establishment of the Republican Party in the 1860's, the Tribune has endorsed two Democratic candidates for President...Barack Obama in 2008 and Horace Greeley in 1872. So its a fucking Republican newspaper...y'all can make up your own minds about Lori Lightfoot without the assistance of the local ignoramus.

She was President of the civil Chicago Police Board and held a couple of other administrative positions in the Emanuel administration. So fucking what?

Emanuel was Obama's guy. No chief of staff was more protective of his president than Emanuel was of Obama. He's still Obama's guy. They are still close friends. But black Chicagoans are now pissed off at Obama over the location of the Obama Library...how fickle can we be? Emanuel did the best anybody could with the nightmare left by Richie Daley. So he acted to keep the city from going under, and in the process he pissed off white people, black people, brown people, yellow people, and red people. Anybody who pisses off everybody is doing something right.
