So, we ARE the cause of global warming after all?

Ah, you feel about humanity in general the way TP dudes SAY liberals feel about Amerika.
Actually, every other organism I know of heedlessly exploits the environment to maximum extent it can. The wonderful aesthetically-pleasing 'balance-of-nature' (that only us big-brained types have the ability to appreciate) is a balance of terror, if you want to look at it that way. So if you believe that nature would be better off without us, somehow, you have a little problem in that there will be no one to love it, there will be no one to care.
Beauty and goodness cannot exist without big brains to recognize them. It is therefore absolutely necessary that big brains be treasured and given the highest priority of survival and advancement.

Chas implying he has the bigger brain is no more absurd than your assumption that humans have big brains. It's entirely possible that other entities exist with intellect that dwarfs ours.
It could also be argued that a big brain (by our measure) is the problem, not the solution. Note that we are the smartest species on the planet, yet do the most damage by far.

Getting some exercise jumping to conclusions?
History says warming was going to occur again whether we are here or not. I was referring more to the wanton wasting of natural resources on folks who contribute nothing to the well being of the planet or mankind, due to our being saddled by such notions as compassion and fairness. Nature don't care.

Then you agree that we should rid ourselves of the Koch Bros and the Waltons?
Nature tends to assure the survival of the fittest mankind tends to assure the survival of the wealthiest.
