Thank you Bob, you and Patty are always welcome, though the place is set up strictly for R&R.
We had tons of snow this past weekend and a friend visiting from Colorado took some great pictures. I will DB some pictures and post them here soon.
On the topic of my business, employees are treated as team members without a distinct hierarchy. Anyone can approach me and speak their heart out, I hold it in strict confidence. Our vendors are considered as our resources and not jerked around. The formula works.

Thanks brother. Love to see some pics of the place.
The weather is getting pretty dire up that way. Check out the pics of Nevada City in this thread over at AK. http://audiokarma.org/forums/index.p...-again.749800/

How exactly do you determine tone on a forum. Other than Bob who started it in that direction way back I have no malice towards anybody on here.

Since you asked:

But no, they are less fortunate. My ass. They are sorry as hell would be more accurate.

The reason you never amounted to anything is on you. Same with everybody else.
You went and got a job working a hammer for somebody else and that is as far as you took it.
Now you think you deserve some fair share for being a grunt.
Good luck in the contest.

I responded. I rejected your premises, and I gave you some examples why they are not sound. For example, to suggest that "school" is the only way to success ignores apprentice programs. It also ignores that investment that individuals have made in mastering a skill that provides value to the products they produce. Even if the job is repetitious, if it is necessary to the productivity of the operation, it is valuable. I think that most businesses could not succeed without people performing necessary jobs for the business. Therefore, there is a mutual benefit to one running a business hiring employees. Because the employees provide a necessary element of the company's success, they should share in the success.
I'm not saying that there shouldn't be some reward for risk and innovation. I am saying that the contribution of others to the success should also be rewarded with something other than scraps.

I don't have any problem with people making a living. Matter of fact it would be fine with me if fast food employees made $15 an hour.
But, it hurts small businesses. And, large businesses will just pass it on and hurt the very people that need help.
In the end if you need some outside force to make more money it doesn't say much for you.
