It was supposed to be a Siberian Husky, only I wonder if it didn't have some Malmute or wolf in it's history, as it weighed 80 lbs, which is quite a bit bigger than even the males are supposed to get. Not to mention the heavy red coat.
Really miss the old hound.

Even though owls are purported to have excellent eyesight, I can see it having trouble distinguishing between a rat and a chihuahua. Owls are predators and small animals look like prey. I'm glad the family did not lose its dog, but I don't blame the bird.

Why would he do that? Is you assumption that he would "blame the bird" another one of your lame attempts at stereotyping? Did d-ray just upset your applecart by not remaining in the box you think he belongs in?

I hope you realize that your statement is not only a personal insult to owls, but has enraged rat owners everywhere.

Good. That makes me smile. I like my friends to be happy. That's 'cause when they're all angry and frustrated, they're a real PITA.

I used to worry when the kittens were small because there is a red tailled hawk in the area. Now that they are grown I doubt the hawk could pick them up. And if the mother cat was nearby it would be like Mark Twain once said "Any man who has an angry cat by the tail would be getting more education than his mind could possibly absorb."
