I guess I need to amend my favorites to 1956-1962.

I like the pre-Stingray ones with that indentation thingy on the sides.

I never cared much for the Stingrays, but I do like the Beach Boys Song.

My dentist friend took me for a ride in his black Nissan GT-R last fall. Pretty impressive for 100K. After the demo I read up a bunch about this thing. Whatever Nissan did with it, they did it almost perfect. They say it's almost impossible to spin the thing out on a road course. It's like stuck to the pavement. Which has caused some of the purists to complain that it's no fun to drive. "Uninvolving" is the term the road snobs who would prefer to spend 600 large, and more, on a supercar they can do battle with in the corners, and still loose to this "unpleasantly noisy" rice burner at the Nurburgring...every time.

Mix Euro & GM and you get a beautiful little car called the Corvair Corsa. I've owned & built several when I thought money was only for building cars.

Rear engine air cooled flat 6 cylinder with an available turbo version, way back in the early to mid 60s.

I've been pissed off at Ralph Nader for years over that car!

I've driven one of those once. It felt like someone put sandbags in the trunk. (If it had a trunk, nod wink.)
