don't you remember the uproar the right made when GM shareholders were upset they did not receive more for their stock (that would have been worth considerably less if it was allowed to bankrupt) and how they felt victimized because the union got help too?

Well at least the union members report to work and do something every now and again. A shareholder does little more than sit on his lazy ass and collect a check. I should know, I have investments too. But, I don't live under the deluded assumption that anyone owes me anything because of it.
Sorry, but that's how I see it. Welfare recipients shouldn't bitch. Everything they get is free money.
