People are seen to believe in lots of conspiracy theories that are damned unlikely. For example, people believe that the buildings of the 1893 Columbian Exposition were actually ancient buildings of the Tartarian Empire, and historians and architects are conspiring to cover this up. This is an actual conspiracy theory, it exists. It helps a lot to have a conspiracy mindset as I described above to believe a thing like this.

Now, if an author and a publisher get together to sell a totally made-up history book of the Tartarian Empire, without either of them believing a word of it, they are in a conspiracy.

Well said. I shouldn't worry about the repubs, but the Mormons. I guess they're coming back to take Missouri by force.

I do not know. It's said to be 144,000 people, and they get to populate another plant like Earth, while this one gets destroyed.

Well ~69% of the world's population is not Christian, so that leaves them out.
So 144k out of 2.48 billion, odds are not good.

I kinda sorta knew a guy who thought he was gonna make the Rapture cut, and I was going to ask him about it, but he got thrown into jail before I had the chance.

Always have wondered why the word god is capitalized because linguistically it is a common name. I think there is a conspiracy behind it.

That sure looks like a well hatched plan and not a pair of misguided souls.

No, linguistically it is a title, like a ship's Captain.

I would not qualify at the present time. I was once wash clean by the Holy Spirit, but reverted to old habits. I will be terrified to meet Jesus on judgement day.

The 144,000 are sinless in the eyes of Christ, sinless and abiding.
