In this case, we're talking about a Constitutional amendment, not just a law. If you see a Constitutional test of the separation of Church and State making its way toward the SCOTUS, you'd better run for the hills! We have probably four sitting justices who are half-crazy flesh-mortifying Opus Dei fanatics.
