Not a crybaby, just not about to let the enemy get by with anything. Wonder why the rules include fans? Electronic devices I can see--you'd be into full-scale electronic warfare in no time, with candidaties trying to jam or steal the opponents communications....

From the link above, this comment from Scott's camp I find childish and pathetic.

Scott campaign manager Melissa Sellers later offered a statement to The Huffington Post.

“Charlie Crist can bring his fan, microwave, and toaster to debates - none of that will cover up how sad his record as governor was compared to the success of Rick Scott," Sellers said. "Crist should buy a fan for the 832,000 Floridians who lost their jobs while he was governor.”

Then how do you explain not refusing to take the podium? Also the loss of jobs she is referring to is mainly due to the recession and mortgage crisis.

Ol' Rick 'I'll Take The Fifth' Scott must've been confused and worried that Charlie Crist would be able to fact check him in real time with a fan.

The moderators were great.

What stuck out to me was Scott trying to pin job losses from the '07-'08 recession on Crist.
As if a some governor in Florida had the power.

What's really bad is that Scott has a better than even chance of winning.

The latest poll shows the race tied at 40-40 with 6% backing the "Libertarian" candidate.

http://www.tampabay.com/news/politic...-scott/2202100

That means Scott is really ahead because most of those Liberturds will come home to the Republicans on election day.

what a joke! it was a terrible debate once it started. hell all they did was berate each other till the last 15 minutes or so. Charlie Crist was ok despite the fact that he was a moderate republican. he will get my vote.
the state is a joke do you know how many elections are won by a republican here because there is no democrat who's running in opposition? there are several near me!

He was going to get mine too, but then I moved to Alabummer.

At least one thing is good about it here in this Red State Hell-hole.

There are no competitive elections, so no TV ads.

Except for an occasional bleed over from a Pensacola station.

Oh yeah, and I got a mail out from the Scott campaign bashing Crist. I guess the idiots don't realize that Mobile is in Alabama.

Been busy most of the day but did here on NPR forget the program right now. But Scott must of though the fan was all to important an issue, just because Crist always uses one in debates.

Just looked very childish and petty.
