"If Stench calls, take a message."

or "Tell Stench I'm having finger sandwiches with Peggy Noonan and will text him later."

The speaker is Ryan. Guess who "Stench" is!

The Romney campaign is in free fall.

Paul Ryan vs. The Stench

Way too funny.

Though Ryan had already decided to distance himself from the floundering Romney campaign, he now feels totally uninhibited. Reportedly, he has been marching around his campaign bus, saying things like, “If Stench calls, take a message” and “Tell Stench I’m having finger sandwiches with Peggy Noonan and will text him later.”

If true, Ryan's a moron.

Pretty sure it's true, Pete, and Ryan's not a moron, just really immature and self-centered. He's also panicked because he sees his political future going up in smoke. He's looking for someone to blame.

The other interesting thing is Romney's people calling Ryan "Gilligan". This shows a profound lack of respect for their #2. (Also, is Romney Mr. Howell or the Skipper? )

What we have here is a campaign in total melt-down with the Romney and Ryan camps in full on feud mode. If they don't do something about this they're done.

It's almost as if the republican party wants to lose the election.

That might be the only thing that saves the GOP. If they lose and wake up and throw Nyquist, Rove, limbaugh and the Tea Baggers overboard and steer toward the center the GOP might survive.
