Consistency counts for nothing? Now who's being obtuse? What are you-13? Next thing out of your mouth will be along the lines of "Do you have Prince Albert in a can?" I know you're new here but grow the fuck up.

So, I take it you'll let Obama off the hook for not acheiving all of his campaign promises now?

And conservatives don't like to play forgetful and stupid when it serves them? You'll never win that argument either. We can go way back with that one too........."I don't recall. Do you remember everything you did seven years ago?"

So that was yesterday...
That dudes' column today about David Gregory on Leno's show Romney is pretty funny too.
Quote:
Of Romney's religion, Gregory said Mormonism was at the core of Romney's character, but suggested he was afraid to talk about it.

"Let's be honest, this is the core of who Mitt Romney is," he said. "He was a missionary in France for two years. He has been a bishop in the church, which, in the Mormon church, is effectively like a a priest. Philanthropically, he's made huge contributions. He's had a big impact on the church. And yet he doesn't talk about it. It's the core of who he is, and yet he doesn't feel like it's safe to talk about."

I think I see some over-compensating here. Obama is obviously intelligent and is recognized as a good speaker by those of all political stripes. You can bet your booties that, before the debates begin, Mitt will be gushing all sorts of praise for Obama's mastery of the language.

So what is it about Obama's intelligence and success that you find threatening? Are you so lacking in confidence in validity of your position that you must assert that anyone who disagrees with you is stupid? There are several folks here who, by simply creating lucid posts, regularly disprove your assertion.

I suggested earlier that you post specific examples to support your conclusory allegations about Obama, but you have failed to cite a single one. As a result, you are not the only one who questions the validity of your position.

Regards,

D-Ray

I wouldn't argue that he is not intelligent, but I would argue that he, like anyone, is not above making silly statements. In Obama's case, he often says things that seem like a knee jerk partisan response, rather than thoroughly thinking through his position. Like it or not, he does represent the other half of the people and ought at least tacitly respect their views.

On the legal front, I'd love to read any briefs or court cases that Obama wrote while an academic lecturer.

Hell, he's just reading a speech. After watching the clip, he did a better job the first time.

All the crap about telepromters, sweater vests, Mitts blue jeans and the size of Newts colossal, moon like head is just campaign fodder anyways. It's fun for a few days. But, people who just can't stop dragging it out and giggling like asylum inmates about it years later are just annoying.

And, NO. I didn't read that off of my palm.
