Congrats.

Tried to fit in / drive one of those one time. At 6' 6" tall, it was...putting it mildly...a bitch. But it looks like it would be fun to drive.

Mad Men had the ultimate comment about the quality of 1960 Jaguars.

It is sort of a spoiler. Suffice it to say that the agency has both a Ford account and a Jaguar account and one of the guys with a loaner from Jaguar has a sort of ironic encounter with the British product's perceived lack of reliability, which is a point made in the series.

I have heard that the older Jaguars are very nice cars with a Chevy motor in it. Otherwise they are still nice to look at.

There used to be kits fro installing small-block Chevys in XKEs. The Chevy engine rediced the weight of the car considerably.

Even back in the 70's the running joke was you better have a mechanic on your payroll if you buy a Jag....

But contrats on the new ride Cats. I've always like the mini, seems like a nice well built car.
