I sure am not defending those that sit and bitch. I do wish that everyone would adapt and overcome. That being said I'm afraid that there is a significant part of the population that wants handouts more than they want independence.

I think most people just want a job, and one that they can earn enough money to actually pay bills with. And right now, the system is failing to generate any jobs, let alone that type of job.

And some of us tend to believe it's no accident.

Pete, believe it, or not, some of those businesses can hold out longer than the rest of us can.....if there is a goal they feel is worth going after.

A few days ago, I had a business owner down in Lousiana, on another board tell me;

"It's not a matter of whether or not I can hire anyone right now. I'm simply not going to, until that damn socialist is gone from the Whitehouse!"

He also warned me that; "When we come down on you, we're coming down hard and fast. All of that shit the left has fought for will be gone."

A man came into the Ace Hardware the one day, as I was buying paint supplies. The clerk said, "Man, you're in here all of the time lately." His reply, "Another three an' a half years or so 'til that fuckin' Obama is gone, then I'll hire some help. But, not a got-damn minute sooner."----That was 2009.
