Egg white omelette with spinach, feta, and thinly sliced green tomatos.

And Pabst.

Peel the banana.
Slice it once, lengthwise.
Smear peanut butter of choice on bottom half.
Place top half onto peanut butter.
Serve.

You forgot the RC Cola to go with it.

It takes a level of intelligence rarely seen in a Republican.

Finnbow, I just cleaned up the bone and made scalloped potatoes with half and saved half. Husband was lamenting the fact that I didn't make beans. But, I still have enough for one more meal. Would love any suggestions.

Louisiana Red Beans and Rice

Serve with a green salad and some fresh French bread. Top with Louisiana hot sauce, of course (Crystal is the preferred brand).

Senate Navy Bean Soup

A dash of hot sauce, to taste, is also desirable at serving time.

Yep. Black beans and rice as a side dish.

Saute together in olive oil:
Chopped Onion
Chopped Green Pepper
Chopped Garlic
Oregano
Cumin
Red pepper flakes (not too much)

Add a can of undrained black beans, a dash of sherry and a bay leaf.

Bring to a boil, turn down and simmer for 1/2 hour.

Serve on top of white rice to accompany fish tacos, fajitas, grilled chicken or something with a Central American/Mexican/Caribbean vibe.

If you want black bean soup, remove the bay leaf, add a bit of water and blend until smooth with an immersion blender. Serve with a heaping tablespoon of white rice added on top of the soup. Let the diner mix it in.
