Scott made 13 mentions of “God,” while Pence used “God” 10 times in his campaign launch. DeSantis, who is Catholic, used “God” twice, and Trump used “God” just once. Yet Trump has been hugely successful in the past with the White evangelical voters influential in GOP primaries, and DeSantis has excited Christian conservatives with his stance on hot-button social issues.

This of course is nothing new, Republicans voting against spending which helps their constituents yet line up for credit when the funds are appropriated.

They opposed the infrastructure law. Now, some in the GOP court its cash.

“All those members of Congress who voted against it suddenly realize how great it is, and they’re bragging about it,” Biden said.

There is a lot more instances of GOP Senators shamelessly taking credit while continuing to criticize the spending, height of hypocrisy especially the two from TX.
