Here is an interesting article on the words GOP candidates are using in their campaign for 2024 presidency. The word God being a staple,

Quote:
Scott made 13 mentions of “God,” while Pence used “God” 10 times in his campaign launch. DeSantis, who is Catholic, used “God” twice, and Trump used “God” just once. Yet Trump has been hugely successful in the past with the White evangelical voters influential in GOP primaries, and DeSantis has excited Christian conservatives with his stance on hot-button social issues.

GOP lawmakers insist that the producers of the new Barbie movie are "endangering national security."

Meanwhile, Trump and minions in Congress are actually our greatest national security threat. As always, every accusation is a confession.

This of course is nothing new, Republicans voting against spending which helps their constituents yet line up for credit when the funds are appropriated.

They opposed the infrastructure law. Now, some in the GOP court its cash.

Republicans have cheered the arrival of new federal money to improve local roads, bridges, pipes, ports and internet connections, nearly two years after voting against those very investments

Quote:
When the Biden administration awarded Alabama roughly $1.4 billion in late June to expand high-speed internet access across the state, its senior Republican senator rejoiced.

“Great to see Alabama receive crucial funds to boost ongoing broadband efforts,” Sen. Tommy Tuberville wrote on Twitter, without acknowledging the money originated in a law that he — and dozens of other Republicans — had voted against............

“All those members of Congress who voted against it suddenly realize how great it is, and they’re bragging about it,” Biden said.
There is a lot more instances of GOP Senators shamelessly taking credit while continuing to criticize the spending, height of hypocrisy especially the two from TX.

Whell’s World.
Being that it this fighting is among Republicans in Michigan, it is quite literally Whell's world. One would think that the sheer lunacy of the Michigan GOP would give him pause, but instead he doubles down on the wingnuttery.
