Still see no need for the weapons described in the public domain. Self defense target practice in reality does not change my views in the least.

I personally see no real reason for the citizens of any country to own a semi auto magazine rife designed for military use. Do own them but would be the first to admit it is for fun shooting not person protection. A toy for me not protection. We have a very good police force and military after all.

If banned tomorrow sure would miss them and feel a few bad apples spoiled it for everyone. By the misuse of the weapons.

Everything you say above is correct. Only thing missing is the express conviction the the 'bad apples' have indeed spoiled it, most horribly.
