Did you watch Obama on TV on healthcare?

Me, I watched Corner Gas reruns on DVD... far more entertaining.
After seven and a half months, I have had my fill of Obama.

What did YOU do when the speech was on?

I was on the computer, wife was taking a nap so I didn't fire up the 6L6GC's. Didn't need to watch ears...Beck and Hannity will tell me everything I need to know anyway.

I'm too stupid to think for myself.

I read the copy released to the press. Didn't see any problem with it.

This protected me from the subliminal messages contained in the video feed

Considering the behaviour of some congresscritters maybe he should have given the school talk. I did not realize that 6 year olds could be elected to office.

I watched parts of it. He is a more articulate speaker but doesn't connect very well imho, his cadence gets monotonous in a hurry, unless he's rousing the rabble on the left

I particularly dislike when he poses during applause with his head sideways and up, it strikes me as unbelievably arrogant. Yes I know it's supposed to be 'inspiring'.

I figured out a long time ago these speeches from either party mean very little. I'm guessing the Dems already have something worked out.

That's that "respect for the office" they were talking about when I disagreed with W.

I watched it and it was just more of the usual "I don't have anything concrete to show you, so just trust me." The problem is, I have trouble trusting anyone who thought Van Jones was a good guy to have around, or sat in Rev. Wright's church for 20 years hating whity. How can someone with his associations and general track record expect Americans to trust him with their very lives. He just did another speech this morning to the Nurses Association, and it was just more flowery talk with absolutely no substance. I've come to the belief that health care reform Obama style is dead, and he's a one term empty suit. I do hope they get a vote on it before 2010 though, so the Dems that vote yes get tossed out on there asses. I predict that 2010 and 2012 will see a return of Republican values, I just hope it's not too late. I keep reminding myself that America had to suffer through Carter to get to Reagen.
