So how do you feel about a complete hands-off approach. Let the drug companies charge whatever they wish. Let the hospital bill you $10 for a tylenol. Say $500 for an ambulance ride. Won't happen you say because the free market competition will control prices. Wake up and smell the flowers,it is already happening. The so-called free enterprise system became the free greed system years ago.

As we have seen with recently (last 20 years) de-regulated industries; they are incapable of self-policing themselves, and when they get in trouble they are immediately at the public trough (insurance, airlines, power, oil, auto...). They all cry, "...leave us alone, let us get back to doing what we do best...", and on and on.

Look, I'm all for responsibility in medical costs, but the insurance cost increases that I have seen in the last 9 years are robbery.

I agree about medical costs, but I just can't believe more government is the answer to any of our troubles.

Maybe not this government but the real problem is the lobbyists, SCOTUS got it all wrong the Constitution does not provide for lobbyists. In most countries lobbying is against the law and the governments tend to run better.
