Was just looking at a Pioneer manual for my latest prize (RG-2 Dynamic Processor) and realized where I came up with "bonnet". Pioneer uses the term in all their silver era manuals!
Can't believe I let you guys give me a hard time on that.

Bonnet is usually associated with cars......the hood of a car.

Sometimes meaning, connotation, gets lost in translation.
