Look everyone, Dj was paying attention.
I was sure one of you would have picked up on that, at the very least.

That's where I came in because I had to attend a HOA meeting. The meeting & the speech were both painful.

I was shocked to say the least about the fracking!
A well driller bought up land near us in the country. Made us an offer on our lproperty ( we're selling). He shook my hubby's hand on the deal..... he was to give us a check a week later but.... felt the selling price was too high and instead... offered us much less. We refused.
He bought up most of the land around us since then and made a mess of the area...cut trees, completely scared off most of the wild life.
We have a private well and are one of the few who do. Most people use their property for summer recreation and hunting.
A week later we find out he bought land in Pennsylvania and is going into gas drilling!!!
So now we're holding our breath...he has money and there seem to be different rules for those who do.

Then why do you support the party that blatantly fosters this?

sincerely, I mean I get that culturally the GOP appeals to you but that is purposful to get you to vote against your own best economic interest

Can't speak for Painter, but I see the GOP as being better for my economic interests.

I believe that both are wrong and at best would only be a all to short term fix on our energy needs.

Who is to say just because the oil goes through the USA on a pipeline it will stay in the USA? Once it is refined it is sold and goes to where ever. There is a reason the refiners are on the Gulf coast. BTW pipe fitters have the lowest unemployment rate in the nation right now.

Fracking can be an even worst choice for the planet. Everyone should watch Gas Land to see the effects it is doing already. Humans can not live without clean drinking water.

The country that gets the renewable energy problems figured out first will be the power house economy. China and India already know this and are quickly gaining ground on the USA. By hook or crook and we are letting them right now.

You missed the part where he said they'd regulate it to a stand still with B.S. environmental concerns. Ok, those weren't his exact words, but you gotta read between the lines.
Kinda like when he said he would continue to use our money to make wild bets on clean technology companies with financial problems.
