"One can criticize the unapologetic manner in which he left and the cheesy effort to install his son, but the important point is that the Democratic Party forced him out. After presumably working behind the scenes while calling him an “icon” publicly, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) publicly called for him to step down.
The contrast with the GOP, which stood behind President Trump even after the “Access Hollywood” tape and now has thrown its full support behind an accused child molester, could not be greater — or more toxic — for the GOP. To be blunt, one party has adopted a zero-tolerance position (with Sen. Al Franken, Democrat of Minnesota, set to go before the ethics committee) and another party opens its arms to people it believes are miscreants."
from Jennifer Rubin who pens a column from the Right at the Post. As staunch a conservative Republican as any.

The 19 Women Who Accused President Trump of Sexual Misconduct
For dummies like Whell, yes, this is completely on topic.

From the Atlantic piece linked above:
Quote:
Trump vociferously denies any wrongdoing. “Is the official White House position that all of these women are lying?” a reporter asked Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House press secretary, in late October. “Yeah, we’ve been clear on that from the beginning, and the president’s spoken on it,” Sanders replied.

See, Trump says it did not happen, so it did not happen. Trump got elected.
Trumps said Moore says it did not happen, Moore is going to get elected.
Now why don't the Republican women in the House and Senate turn on Trump and Moore, or just on Moore for some practice? I am sure there will be a non answer.

So how about Franken, weren't they allegations too?
Or did you fall for that picture where he is shown to grab the boobs (or pretending)?
When she grabbed his ass, she was not pretending.

You asked, I answered with an ask, and now you're sounding like whell.
What about Franken? Appears he pleaded guilty to me.

I don’t get all the newspapers using “pleaded” as past tense of plead these days. I always remember it as “pled”, which some still use, and just sounds right to me. I dunno.

You used the word 'allegations', Franken did not wait for review from the Ethics committee, so allegations is all I have. Yes Franken apologized but not to any specific act.
I would rather go to hell than parrot like 'whell'.
