I did! Sounds pretty good. D's helped me immensely and now I can enjoy it.

Darn good thing I sold the AR9s before moving into the apartment. One too many and I'd light that building up

Pete

I'm still waiting for a review on those Infinities. (And if you don't like them, you have a buyer. )

Regards,

D-Ray

I've had at least one offer but they're spoken for, some lawyer I know wants them As soon as they're replaced you'll get a PM.

A quickie review? For the money? Excellent. Running them with a non-ideal (IMO) big sand amp the bass is firm and the midbass in particular is surprising. The highs while perhaps a little muted are very smooth and on say Hendrix LPs guitars (and other strings)(banjos? ) can be very good.

For obvious reasons I haven't been able to work them out and test their limits, but at the low to medium levels I'm stuck at they handle it just fine. I don't have a great deal of acoustic treatment (on threat of death by wife) but can cover the TV (huge difference!) and the two recliners with blankets. That plus pulling them out a little more than I would've guessed (around 2.5+ feet out into a dimension of about 10 feet? best guess, I'll have to measure the room) and taking the covers off, they sound very natural overall without being in your face.

I'm looking forward to getting them tube driven. I expect good things.

Pete
