Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed the remake. But the original is one of my all time favorite pieces of television. Kevin is a great actor, but in this case, he is out of his league. Sir Ian played the role of his lifetime. Absolutely brilliant!

Oddly enough, I couldn't get into the British one. I'll try again one of these days.

Speaking of TV, I discovered 'Game of Thrones' and have been binge-watching disks from the library. With 'it was meant to be so' good timing, season three has been released on DVD exactly when I finished up with season 2.

I may have to subscribe to HBO in April to watch season 4.

I've heard good things about Game of thrones however I've never attempted to watch it.

I'm watching House of cards season two now. Spacy seems to want to be the next Walter White

I like the medieval fantasy stuff.

Underwood and Walt are quite similar in a lot of ways. But Underwood is much the more evil. More conscious and committed to it.

Started watching season 2, and it's off to a great start. Hopefully they can keep the quality up.

It would be an interesting discussion about whether or not Francis actually is evil.
