I thought Obama worked for Americans?? Would the majority of Americans think that he should be awarded for his performance?
He does work for Americans!! What the majority of Americans think will indeed be the measure of his success. They had their vote last year. And if they don't agree with his actions, he'll be a one term President.

But the Nobel Committee *doesn't* work for Americans. And they can promote whatever agenda it is they promote. If they think Obama is "good for the world" or whatever, they have that right.

Good intentions and nickle wont get you a bus ride. The man has not been in office long enough to bestow anything on him imo.

Personally, I'd be too embarrassed to accept it. Never was one to take credit for something that someone else deserved.

Be kinda hard to say no to the 1.4 mill though...but I could use it. My two autobiograpys aint' movin' too good...and nobody whats to hear me say a Goddamn thing at the big meetin', much less for money.

Then again, what can I do for them?

Chas
