The Greens are no angels, neither are the Friday for Future kids. (Think of the teens using electrical gadgets about 10 - 15 hours daily, which is actually not very sustainable).

But groups like thise started to trigger to think about a system that Capra calls the "systemic conception". It is this systemic conception (see also Klaus Schwab: "The Great Reset") which will help the human race to survive in the 21st century.

While Germany's democracy does give each citizen's vote equal value, I wouldn't necessarily call it better functioning. I think both governments respond to the "will of the people" given that each people's will is different. Conflicting wills give us the compromised governments we live under.

Often times the "will" belongs to the group which can exert the most pressure...for instance who can consistently bring a large crowd to the streets.

Governments have many times been chastised and overturned by the will of the street.

A very democratic approach to really serious issue is the referendum.
