My bad.... must have had my random acts of violence mixed up. Weapon in this case was a truck.

Islam, yet they refer to their God as the merciful. Perhaps the real meaning is lost in translation.

Now, we know who is to blame for the NYC attack, courtesy of Trump, Hannity and Seb Gorka - Sen. Chuck Schumer.

President Trump and some of his allies on the extreme right have found a new culprit in Tuesday’s deadly terrorist attack in Manhattan: Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.).

As details emerged about the incident, prominent right-wing commentators and news outlets seized on an ABC7 story reporting that alleged attacker Sayfullo Saipov had come to the United States from Uzbekistan under a State Department program known as the Diversity Visa Lottery...

Blaming terrorism and violent crime on the nation’s immigration laws is standard conservative fare. It’s how Trump has justified his travel ban...

Schumer did play a key role in drawing up the program in 1990. His proposals eventually became part of a broader immigration package that was passed by Congress in a bipartisan vote and signed into law by a Republican president.

After the Las Vegas tragedy, it was too early to talk about sensible gun control. However, on the morning after the NYC tragedy, it's not too early to falsely and cynically blame the Senator from NY for a tragedy in his own hometown. MAGA, indeed.

They haven't got around to blaming HRC yet! Just give them the need for another distraction from the investigation.

Demonizing the NRA was the right thing to do immediately after the Vegas shooting. However, correctly identifying Schumer is complicit in proposing the "diversity immigration program" that allowed the NYC terrorist into the US is bad because to "falsely and cynically blame the Senator from NY for a tragedy in his own hometown."

Uh huh.

That law was bipartisan and signed into law by George H. W. Bush nearly 30 years ago. Concerns with the program were addressed in 2008 by the bipartisan immigration reform effort of the "Gang of Eight," approved overwhelmingly by the Senate, and then shot down by the House after the far right went ballistic. So, it was signed into law by a Republican and tweaks to improve it were shot down by Republicans and it's Schumer's fault? Only in your (and Trump's) fevered mind. Leave it to someone like you (who has sold his soul to Trumpism) to defend Trump's cynical, tasteless behavior after this tragedy. You (and your Dear Leader) disgust me.
