The far left is just as prone to live in fantasy-land as the far right. Trump is authoritarian enough to go for street violence/police state methods as needed to prevent any leftist challenge.

After four year of Trump, voting restrictions, if nothing else, will prevent any effective challenge to right-wing rule. This is already seen as necessary by many in the face of demographic change.

We built a great country for 200 years and then Ray Gun came in and started deregulating everything. He gave us a nice recession to start and finished with a market crash. We have only made things worse since. If we can get past that stupidity, believing people are not greedy by nature, and citizens united farce we may have a chance at a future for our children.

Neither party really wants Citizens United overturned. If both the House and Senate remains in the hands of the GOP as expected thanks to the FBI, even some watered down election reform will not happen.

No they don't, or to properly re-regulate Wall St. and separate investment banks.
Oh, and especially term limits.
Keep the poor folks uneducated and in dead end jobs. selling drugs to the middle class, and 80% of the liquor licenses in their neighborhoods.

I wonder if there are any coal miners who would want to re-train into clean energy and learn wind turbines and live healthy with higher incomes too rather than an early death from black lung disease.
