The verbiage is also designed to get them past spam filters by not being too brief or too limited in vocabulary.

It's not expected that anyone will read or be influenced by the text. It's just a vehicle to get the links in front of people. Any link, if presented to millions of eyeballs, will be clicked on by some of them. Then their selling site or their malware gets to do it's job. As long as the individual presentation costs next to nothing, there's money in it.

The links in this case are the ????????.??? things. So mysterious! Is your curiosity not aroused? Don't you want to click just to scratch that itch?

DANGER! Don't do it! These are links provided by people who cracked this site's security, keep in mind.

I think the real answer lies in the typical spammers limited higher brain functions.

Instead of spamming, they should use their energy in order to learn to wank more efficiently. This could reduce remarkably the world wide spam quantity.
