Let's get away from politics for a bit.

I'm wondering if there is anyone out there cheaper than me.

I just checked the mail and there was this letter from some charity trying to get me to donate to them. In the little window thing in the envelope I could see a nickel. I tore that part of the envelope open, took out the nickel, put it in my pocket and threw the rest in the trash. Can anyone top that?
So you are supposed to use a 47 cent stamp to mail back the nickle?

When I was a kid, paper napkins came home--with uneaten dinner rolls in them. My mother and her mother were behind it.

I am normally a very frugal guy, but this week I finally decided to drop a hundred bucks on a 15 year old single pot Irish whiskey just to see how good it could be. I had been drinking 12 year old Redbreast which is great. The 15 year old was the smoothest stuff that I have ever tasted, but not smooth enough to convince me that the 12 year old won't do.

But I guess I lose.

I do smash used soap bars together to use for shaving.
