Moral of the story if you create a database use it. I have a fourth copy of the Messiah, this one with Neville Marriner and the Academy and Chorus of St. Martin in the fields. It claims to be based on the first London performance of March 23, 1743. Hmm, March 23 was my oldest brother's birthday - miss ya Wes.

All read in, clicks and pops removed and CDs burned.

Rob,

I assume you use a computer to burn your CD's? What program?

I use a Teac CD22, analog input, it's works pretty good except for mixing. Great for dubbing.

Always wanted a Tascam, but I don't think it's worth the added expense.

I use CoolEdit2000, bought it about six months before Adobe bought out Trillium, so now it is called Abobe Audition (I think). Before I could buy Trillium's add ons I saw this click and pop remover called ClickFix, by a chap named Jeffrey Klein, cheaper and does a great job. Programs do all I want so I never upgraded, well Jeffrey upgrades you automatically. My burner is a DVD/CD from LG that also does Lightscribe but I find Lightscribe slow so I use Neato labels.

Got home from having Thanksgiving dinner at my Sisters, plopped down in the listening chair with a bottle of Abelour 18 year old Single Malt and spun up some Led Zep.

I was thinking of all I have to be thankful for, in order of importance,

1). That my Sister, Wendy is still with us after her fifth heart surgery.
2). That I had such wonderful parents who taught me to be self sufficient,
but to never stop caring about the wellbeing of others. "It could be you
who ends up homeless. And you will definitley grow old, and need the
help of others. So, do unto others as you would have done for you."
3). That I was born in such a great country. Where hard work is rewarded.
(Well, at the moment anyhow.)

This system is coming along. It's been two years in the making.

Currently;
Pro-Ject 6.1/ ClearAudio Aurmum Beta S Wood
H/K Citation Seventeen, fresh from being rebuilt by DeWick
Denon POA1500 (Traded an Adcom GFA555 for this. Had one I bought new in '83, but sold it to buy groceries during a period of extreme poverty back in the late '80s.)
PSB Alpha on Target stands
Definitive Tech TF-15

It will be all vintage once I get a new cart for the Luxman PD264
and swap in, then the Pro-Ject will go to the living room. Or maybe
I'll swap it with the Revox B795/Grado Z2+?

I also have a set of Infinity RS7s that need new tweeter diaphrams,(Thrift score--$25!), that will probably replace the PSBs. The Alphas are nice little speakers, but I love those Infinity ribbons!

Yep. Sweated it together myself. It's also sand filled. I had some pipe left over after rebuilding my bathroom, (Destroyed by termites.), so I decided to find a way to get rid of the surplus. Had to buy a few more fittings to finish it up. But, I think it turned out alright.

I realize it's a little after the fact, but if you wipe your sweat joints down while they're still hot using a wet rag is really cleans up their appearance.

That, some Brasso & clear lacquer and it would shine like a diamond in a goat's ass.

Just out of curiousity, did you run 3/4 to all of your fixtures? I always use 3/4 for the feeders and then branch off with 1/2 to the fixtures.

I tried to picture that description and decided I didn't want to.
